Louis Brown, AIF
With over a decade of financial advisory experience, Louis Brown is a Wealth & Pension Services Group investment advisor. Louis runs the Guardrail GrowthSM investment strategies for individual clients and 401k plans. His expertise includes non-traditional investment strategies, investment portfolio construction, and financial and estate planning for high net worth individuals.
“I think what really sets me apart is that I will always question conventional approaches before accepting them as appropriate for my clients,” Louis said. “I think we owe it to our clients to think independently, seek fresh ideas, and not just follow the herd. Considering the current investment environment and the outlook ahead, advisors should be incorporating non-traditional investment strategies such as absolute return investing and risk-managed growth.”
Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Louis was a touring golf professional, achieving tournament victories in three different countries. He was named the 1989 Australian Tour "Rookie of the Year", was a top money winner on the Canadian PGA Tour, and played extensively on the U.S. PGA and Nike Tours.
When not assisting clients, Louis enjoys relaxing with his wife and children. He is still an avid golfer, and remains very active in the University of Georgia golf program. Louis has worked as a volunteer with The First Tee and founded the Evergreen Society, an Atlanta based golf society created to help others enjoy and give back to the game. Louis is a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Atlanta, serves on the Alumni Board of the UGA Terry College of Business, and is a member of the Gridiron Society.
